Refund Policy
Before purchasing tickets, carefully review that you will be able to attend the Startup Weekend event.
Policies set forth by our clients, including venues, venue owners and promoters prohibit Startup Weekend from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been purchased or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets.
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS ON TICKET SALES.
You agree to pay $40.00 for the Startup Weekend event. The event fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether you subsequently elect to not attend the event for any reason.
Notwithstanding, only in the circumstance that an event is canceled, the ticket purchaser will receive a refund (original confirmation email must be emailed to admin@startupweekend.com to be eligible for a refund) not to exceed the face value of the ticket (i.e., you will not receive a refund of the service fee, and other service charges billed by Startup Weekend).
In the circumstance that an event is rescheduled, the ticket purchaser will be entitled to a refund of the face value of the ticket if, within three (3) days of the event’s originally scheduled date, the ticket purchaser forwards the original e-mail receipt to (admin@startupweekend.com) and requests a refund. Under no circumstances will a replacement ticket be issued for any ticket that has been damaged, lost, stolen or destroyed.
Additionally, ticket purchaser hereby acknowledges that all venues require ticket purchasers to behave reasonably and Startup Weekend shall have no liability and shall not refund any money to a ticket purchaser who is removed from a venue due to unacceptable behavior, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the persons operating the venue.
