Spirit of the Weekend
Posted by Andrew Hyde
We now have over 800 people that have signed up to attend at least one weekend as a founder.
A few close advisers and friends of Startup Weekend have help in the drafting of the Startup Weekend Bill of Rights (.pdf).
Transparency and honesty are the building blocks of every weekend, and this document will help make sure the 800 Founders, however they found out or ended up signing up, are on the same page and can expect a great weekend.
NYC is in 2 days, it will be heavily blogged and documented.

Woo hoo! Great job, Toronto and now NYC is just around the corner! I can hardly wait!
I’m starting to hear strains of Alice’s Restaurant - whereby getting up above the number three, people start taking it more seriously and it starts to show signs of becoming a movement. That could be cool!
And I look forward to lots of blogging and documenting at future Startup Weekend events - it’s definitely an important way to capture and spread the buzz!
