Madison Startup Weekend
Posted by Dev Acct
Madison Wisconsin has an amazing and flourishing open source and .NET community with a lot of talented and driven people who are ready to make something happen at Madison Startup Weekend. The event will be taking place September 5 - 7 and after talking with Abraham Williams I think this weekend is going to be rockin!
This weekend started with a tweet, that spawned another tweet, that spawned some blogs that ultimately lead to the people in Madison mobilizing and preparing for Madison Startup Weekend.
Madison is a cool town in that we have such a diverse group of smart and driven people that will certainly make some really cool ideas come to light… all in the course of a weekend.
I’m really excited about this one and you should be as well.
If you are interested in getting in on this weekend you should get registered as soon as possible. You can reserve your spot for $40 which includes food, schwag, entertainment and more.

Yes! I'm incredibly excited that Startup Weekend is coming to Madison. Madison has a thriving entrepreneurial community and should really be a fantastic location for this.
I also just saw that your Press link to Brazen Careerist at the right is from one of the founders of a startup of the same name here in town (BrazenCareerist.com now). It's just fitting I guess
